Keeping track of my disease from start to .....

natures course
Jul 10 2008

I was just thinking about what to do. My only option the doctor gave me was the radioactive iodine to burn my thyroid off. It's crazy how people cand abuse their bodies and they are fine....andpeople like us aren't so bad yet we get diagnosed with horrible illnesses.

Why?

People say it makes us stronger....I belive these are the people who have no answers so this is what they say. They say we ALL must go thru hard things.

What I want to know is why?

Now I have to add diabetic to my illness. Of Course. I talked to my Therapist yesterday and she said this all makes perfect sense. I've had an uphill struggle all my life. So when things seemed perfectand finally good for me, fait wouldn't let me have it and handed me these new problems.

Day three
Jun 25 2008

This is day three that I've know I have Graves Disease. I'm still in shock pretty much. I've told a few of my friends and I guess they pretty much thinkits no big deal. Maybe it isn't...idk I'm still lost on all of this.

All I can think of is I will never have my life back and that it all has to change. No drinks No hanging out late with friends No fave foods.

And who would want to date someone who is sick all the time????
