"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

if Life is a Journey

how I muddle through the muddied waters of fibro and the two lung surgeries and all the fun associated with that....sheesh

But it does give you a new perspective on life....having your rib cage lifted up as far as possible so that the docs can scrape your lungs...called decortication...having a couple of ribs removed, to give them room and then having to deal with the aftermath. I have learned a lot from this whole ordeal:

So Here's my prayer for our nation:

We need to stand in the sun every chance we get.

We need to develop thicker skin so that we aren't offended by every little thing.

We need to observe, really observe, the mirical of life, from buds on tress, to flowers to puppies and kittens to people.

To anyone who who believes all of this was happenstance, basically all of life is an accident, well only if it were an accident of 'Biblical' proportions.....life is a miracle. Plain and simple. A divine miracle

We need to dance. Dance, Sing, Play like no one is watching!!!

We need to remember that all life is a gift. And enjoy the gift for as long as it lasts.

The rain is falling, but that's ok because yesterday there was sun and the day after tomorrow there will be sun AGAIN.

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SUN AFTER RAIN.

So no matter how bad the bad times get remember this.....there will be sun again, and the sun means warmth on our joints and muscles. And it will feel good and we may look like Lurch from the Adams family, but who cares, we are in the sun feeling better and we can dance....slowly, probably, but we can dance! And where there is life, where we can move ,where we can feel there is joy!!!
