MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Tiger!

Oct 01 2009

I've decided that my new pet name for everyone is Tiger!  LOL!  'Cause that's what we all are deep down inside.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think that God lets mere mortals get fibro.  It takes someone really special to be able to handle it.  And even when it feels like you're not handling anything, that's not true.  You have to know that deep down inside you are.

As always, I wish everyone a deliriously pain free day!

 SO, go get 'em, Tiger!

Tiger, like that one Tina smilies/cool.gif!! Yet, to me, whilst the image does not work for many people- always been unique ;-) prefer the image of the bat( hanging on in there tightly) smilies/wink.gif! Think bats are beautiful creatures, truly- think the only reason people find them scary is due to them being used in far too many horror movies- in other words bats have been used negatively in the media so people subconsciously think they are negative 'scary' animals when they are far from this infact they are quite phenomenal just like all of us mighty fibromites:-)! Yet, do like the name of Tiger, too, for sure!!

Reminds me of a cool quote :-)

"Life is like a wild tiger. You can either lie down and let it lay its paw on your head - Or sit on its back and ride it."

Love being a mighty fibromite- never heard of this expression until you said it Tina!

We are challenged yet we are survivors!

Thanks Tiger Tina :-) Big big hugs to You!

Love this British Bat ;-) with a tiger fighting spirit :-) and a dolphin heart :-), Clarita XXXX

I like the tiger image too and the quote from Clarita... makes a person think of things kind of differently.
I agree about being a tiger too. Not sure special people get fibro... maybe we become special people because fibro makes us value the things we once took for granted and don't any more. Maybe it's because fibro can either lay you out flat or make you want to fight even harder to live a 'normal' life.
Yes, I'd say that's the tiger in us all....

A nice thought, TinaL
