With no support in my area I searched the web for help, after two years I stumbled on to MDJ.

I plan to write here about my everday pain, pain levels, what kind sof pain and what brings on FMS attacks for me. I also have Degenertive disc Disease, but did not see a group for that...so I plan to write here.

6:30pm Pacific time. I took some extra medications so that I could do some housework today. I'm glad that most of it is done, but I know I will pay for it tomorrow.
I'm trying to lose weight so that my joints don't wear out that much sooner. I already have a new left knee (got it almost a year ago), now it looks like I might be looking at a hip replacement. But I know they won't do that unless I let them mess with my lumbar. I have a congenital problem of very short pedicles in my spine. Along with degenerative spine, and stenosis, not good.

I worked more than I should have cleaning house today. I ended up taking more of my muscle relaxer than normal. I know it I don't clean..no one else will. Plus, eventgually the epidural will completely wear off and I will be back to alying down all day while the house gets dirty.

awaken at 4:00 am with extreme muscle spasm in neck and so much pain.  Tried taking muscle relaxer and pain meds.  Eventually went to lay back down, but I was afraid I would sleep through Sueand Jim coming over for breakfast, so I stayed awake.  I wore boots (heels) to breakfast.  this was the first time in heels since my knee surgery.  but it was my hips that gave me a problem.  I took more pain medication around noon.  I need a nap.

I can't imagine what tonight will do to my fibro tomorrow, plus my lumbar epidual has worn off. so, when I get up to walk, my right hip gives out and I about fall down. I have to stop and try to get the shooting pain to stop before I begin to walk again. I don't see my rhuemy until right before Thankgiving. At that time I will try to have another epidural approved and scheduled. The last one the last one lasted close to a month. Three weeks were really good, the 4th not so good and now I'm back to square one. I can barely walk, pain shooting down both legs and when I sneeze or cough the pain shoots into the large muscles of the buttock. I'm supposed to be going to visit my mother on Tuesday..not sure if that will happen if I still feel this bad or worse. I know I will not have the epidural before Thanksgiving and we are supposed to drive 8 hours to S. Cali, ugh..it hurts just thinking about riding in a vehicle that long.

Oh yeah, the high stress is because of my son. His soon to be ex-wife called th police because he pushed her back into her car and told her to leave. She told them he threw her and slammed the door on her leg. This is a he said she said thing. she did not have a mark on her, but they arrested my son. He needs to get a restraining order so that "if" she shows up, he can call the police on her. He needed to be bailed out because he has work tomorrow and he is moving in a week. He can't afford to miss work. I was trying to find the money to post bail. OMG..I've never beent rhough this before, it's horibble.
