MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Seeing the Surgeon

May 04 2010
Saw the surgeon, and he drained out the fluid.  He says movement and working aren't having an effect on the fluid build up, that's the cavity hasn't closed up and that's why it's filling with fluid.  My doctor says differently.  Now I don't know what to do.  I don't know whether to go on back to work or to just wait.  I wish someone would just make a decision and tell me whether working is gonna hurt me or not.  I'm getting really tired of all the wishy-washy crap from different doctors.  I guess it's the whole cooks/soup thing.  I've got too many people telling me differnt stuff.  I know that I'm exhausted physically and emotionally from all this and that something in my left side still really hurts.
