Well I ended up going to the emergency room because my feet swelled up more and I have been on the two diuretics for two days now. At the emergency room they ran a bunch of different blood tests onmy kidneys, my liver, did an x-ray of my lungs and an IV of another diuretic. I felt light headed after that so they ran saline solution to give me a happy medium and make my blood pressure go back to normal. The damn doctor was an asshole. He straight out told me I needed to lose weight, which of course I know this but with being in pain all the time and the side effect of most of my meds being weight gain its almost impossible. He sat there and told me that I would be in congestive heart failure within a matter of years with getting edema at my young age of 41. He literally had me in tears. Needless to say hubby and I are having a healthy salad for dinner. But being low income its not always easy to eat healthy either. I think I am going to check and see if I qualify for the lapband and see if medicare/medicaid will cover it. That did put fear in me, but he didn't have to do it like he did. It really hurt. I wish the swelling in my feet would go down. I have never had this problem before until the past several weeks. Sorry I am just rambling......

What is the purpose of health except to make us live longer? Think amount a good life, not a long miserable one. This twit will die too. I hope he finds his own personal hell.
"medical professionals" are professional. Listen to your heart and those that love and care about you not some ER MD that doesn't know you. Grab your power back and not give it a way to some jerk just'cuz he has MD after his name. Many, many gentle hugs. -Mary
