Why wear a ribbon?

"I wear the blue ribbon for all it stands for!" (rporter7482)

MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Feeling the urge to purge it all--emotionally

A way to vent my feelings and hopefully prevent a purging.

Back to the drawing board

Sep 13 2011
Well, my streak has ended. I have b/p twice now, since I wrote about my 2 weeks without. My triggers were all around me and it was just too hard to resist. My husband was out of town, which is a majortrigger for me, and I had a really hard day with my daughter. It was one of those days where everything was going wrong, she was into everything, and it was just not working. I also hit a new low and used soap as a way to get myself to throw up. Oddly, I am not too disappointed in myself. I am disappointed, don't get me wrong, but I am not letting these 2 times undo all my hard work these past two weeks. I just got to get back on board again. The soap is not good, I just had read that is a guarenteed way to get myself to throw up, since I was having trouble, and it worked. I will not do that again. I worked really hard these past 2 weeks and I am not discounting that. This was just one bump in the road, and I will start again tomorrow. Next time I will make it to 3.
