MDJunction to me

sarahtroy"There's a special place in my heart for MDJ's Bipolars dealing with Alcoholism support group. As an alcoholic in recovery, it is my safe harbor. I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

Weight

Jun 10 2009

I am losing weight now.  I no longer go out to eat;  I just cannot control myself;  I eat too much.  I am also back into the habit of exercising so I am feeling better.

Itseems to take forever to lose weight and it certainly is not as fun as putting the weight on.  My son worries about me and my weight.  I know I need to lose weight and I am trying to do so.

Hi. we do seem to gain weight as we get older-at least some of us do. I'm doing more salads and fresh fruits and veggies and less breads, which I love. I think tho, we just don't need the calories tht we used to. I am counting them. Good luck on your weight loss.

Thanks. I have cut out sweets and bread for the most part. It is true, I don't need the calories that I used to need. I am not active enough.
