Having Chronic lyme is like putting a puzzle together that has 5000 parts. The bacteria have done alot of damage to my body. Currently, my joints are not only swollen, but pop out at the slightest nudge, or when I simply roll over in bed at night! I cannot lift my arms over my head or my shoulder will pop out. My knees are a mess, but recently started using Kinesiotape to support them and it seems to help as a brace. My posterior tibial tendon that ruptured last year after being torn before that and repaired, seems to be holding up from the osteotomy tendond transfer. I cant feel my big toe sometimes( the tendon that was tranferred goes to that toe), and my little pinky toe is starting to curl up, but I am still walking ok.
The antibiotics are hard on my digestive system. My gallbladder is acting up, with a dull pain that goes through to my back while I am on them. I just had an ultrasound scan and will get the results tomorrow at the lyme doc.
Lyme doc ordered I start IV rocephin asap, because of the severe Neuro symptoms I am having. Hyperrefexia, speech difficulties, and memory issues. My MRI of the brain showed 2 lesions, characteristic of MS.
My blood work shows a postive Lupus test, and very high ANA. High sed rate as well. Lots of inflammation here. Just did more blood work- 9 vials worth to confirm the Lupus or other Autoimmune diseases. Lyme test will be repeated only if those are positive, because I already tested postive for it in 2010, no need to repeat that.
Will be starting Iv soon, if the gallbladder is ok, if not then we will deal with the Lyme in the liver and gallbladder- that is where it hides out- fatty tissues and organs. Liver lesions found- so I know it is there. Learning alot from others on this site! So thankful to have this support.
