MDJ has become a haven for me during my darkest days, yet has allowed me to reach out and help others through my experiences. I have found so many wonderful people/friends here on MDJ. where does anxiety come from?

Jul 28 2012

i took my daughter to a college to get her started there, as i came into door i ran into one of my marine friends , he use to work there as a campus police. anyway i tried getting my daughter set upwith using my military educational benefits.  they did not seem to know much about it. how the system has changed since i was there. anyway i had to go to another place to straighten it out. my friend knew a lot of people there so we started talking the campus police guy there who was a ex marine out of iraq,  he had been ieded and had wounds on his head and legs.  and was discharged because he could not deal with combat with wounds. not a medical discharge  like he should of. anyway he was having problems with the VA helping him.   same old story i got when i got back. it got me so upset , i went into a anxiety attack in front of my daughter, in front of people.  it embarrassed   her i know.  i did did not realized it until i saw her face.
