Dont say you know me, when i dont even know myself

Just going to let my feelings out, better than keeping them all in.

Finally home with our baby boy!

Jun 07 2012

Today, 7th June 2012, mine and Lee's gorgeous baby boy was discharged from hospital and was given permission to come home! We have been waiting for this day for 8 weeks. I doesnt seem real really.

We have a midwife coming round tomorrow morning to check on how he is doing. Also we have been advised not to take him anywhere until the horrid rain slows down and it gets a bit warmer.

Right now, Leo is sound asleep on mine and Lee's bed, with a lovely bunny rabbit soft toy. He is smaller than the toy! He is due a feed in 20 minutes and probably a bottom change. Lee's family already adore him being home with us. The rest of his family are over tonight to meet him and hopefully have a cuddle if he is awake. My family is over Lee's tomorrow to welcome him home as well.

It doesnt seem real, i can be a real mummy to my precious son. I can finally start looking after him and caring for him all day and night.

Thank you! Me and Lee and most of us in the house are exhausted already. We've had Lee's family over, we cooked a roast dinner...and Leo has been crying much all day since he has been home. But we're getting used to it. Hopefully he'll settle in soon...it will make it so much easier for all of us smilies/smiley.gif
