RE: Blackout! - How the dark can make you feel freakadelic

Ok, so, even when I'm not in the middle of a major depressive/DP episode I still get minor DP when I'm in the dark. I've never liked the dark particularly, so that's probably why.

We had some severe weather here in the Northeast last night; my area lost power for 4 hours. So, here I was, still foggy and depressed, trying to find candles.

doesn't help...

not at all...

stumbling around in the dark when you're kinda not sure of yourself is not the most ideal situation.

but, i managed...and thanks to diurnal variation, i also went out to dinner last night and actually felt, well, 'normal'...

im so glad you managed!! Good4U. I hate blackouts. Makes me feel so helpless.... and the not knowing when the lights will come on again.
