MDJunction to me

MisaBlue01"MD Junction has been a safe haven for me. I have met so many caring and understanding people and i don't feel so alone anymore with my bipolar. I now know that others suffer as well and that we need each other for support. I hope that one day we can all learn to love and respect each other more and that no one will have to suffer anymore." Holiday season

Dec 12 2010

I am so proud of my sweet boy this holiday season! We have been very busy with family get togethers, multiple activities and lots of extra action in general. Little man has handled most of it like a champ. We are really starting to understand what Sam can and can't handle. We took Sam to see the zoo lights, he did GREAT! We brought a wagon, Sam had a really good time! We tried to take him to the lights at the temple, not such a good experience. Justin had to take Sam to the van after about 20 minutes, he did much better looking at the lights at a distance. We took the kids to see the mini trains, Sam enjoyed them so much! One place even had a tiny Thomas the train set, so cute.  Tonight we are taking the kids to Bass Pro Shop for their holiday wonderland set up especially for the local heros like police officers, military, paramedics and fire fighters.  The kids will get to decorate cookies, paint ornaments, free pictures with Santa and they will get to play with the remot control train sets and cars.  I hope Sam has a good time, if not, one of us will take Sam to a quiet place where he can de-stress. Either way, it will be a fun family evening.

One other good thing about this holiday, Sam has not knocked over the tree yet! Not even once! LOL!!!
