"Group Members" page

Congratulations, I have started my diary which I will use to tell about new features and surprises that are added to MDJunction.

Before I get started - I love feedback. I need need feedback. Please do not hesitate to comment on my entries and let me know all good things and bad things, everything you think need improving and things you liked. PMs are welcome too. Please.

So, yesterday we launched a new page called Group Members. In this page you'll be able to find new members that have just joined your group and members that are currently online.

I'm sure it'll help you all to interact better with other group members.

For those of you who value their privacy and do not wish to be seen as online: a new parameter was added in the Update My Profile page, inside the General tab called Display as Online that allows you to NEVER display your status as online.

Thanks for doing that! As a Group Leader it is wonderful to have that. I used it already last night!

It was so helpful for me to tell who I still needed to greet! Thanks again!

I appreciate this site more than you know. I think most of us agree that when you are diagnosed with something major your friends just don't 'get it'. This site has helped me pull together even more resources (doctors - yay!) than I already had and I'm a research queen.

Just wanted to say thanks a million!

I saw that the other day and I love it! I had been wondering just how many people were in my group for quite a while- there it is! I didn't have to count anything. There are even some I didn't know about because they haven't posted anything yet. Very helpful to have it all right there. Thanks. Mary

I'm still pretty new here but I've have met a lot of nice people. MD Junction is a good community site and I'm glad to see you added the Group Members Page.I think we need to reach out to other people to invite them to join here because when you think about it-almost everyone is suffering from something & we can reach out to each other here & welcome other people from our blogs & websites-what do you say we give it a try-I'm game-are you?-Sincerely,dudleydoo.Just link MDJunction to your blog,if interested,okay?

I am new to this site. My seven year old daugter was just diagnosed with Marfan Sydrome. So much has been thrown at us in such a short amount of time. We leave for her second surgery this week. smilies/shocked.gif
