littlepea This is going to be my way of trying to cope with my husband's illness. The illness his doctor said he didn't have that nearly killed him on 2-15-09 when his esophagus exploded (my best description of what happened that night).

Another day in paradise!

Jun 05 2009
Progress...finished therapy in May and goes to the Y 2-3 times a week now. Not sleeping very well, but much better than when he first got out of the hospital in March. Grouchy....I can't seem to doanything that pleases him. Started driving againg about a month ago but only to the Y and once in a while to the store, never more than 20-25 miles. Seems to be tired most of the time, has little to no energy and frequently complains of discomfort in his side. Doesn't eat very much, maybe a 4th of what he used to but is maintaining his weight and has fluid under control. He seems sad most of the time and even our precious grand baby can't always pull him out of that. Wish I could do something to make things better.
