There are so many things that must be considered to try to eke out the best existence possible. I have reduced my chances with dialysis by getting rid of my fistula and going back to a cath. But I'll make that better on May 10 when I start nocturnal dialysis.
Now I have to get a handle on the PPH or the dialysis does no good. I exercise as best I can and try to keep my sats above 90, now that takes 6l/m and who knows when that will go up. If it goes up much then I'll be house bound or maybe get a motor home that is half living space and the other half O2 storage.
I have no one local to talk with on PPH, but plenty on dialysis. Our facility has about 180 and the population of ur county is about 18,000.
I have a VPAP machine that really helps my breathing at night. The mask eats my face to hamberger like shrewds. My, but there is an a nswer fo everything. My next trial is May 5th with my pH spec. Don't expect to find anything out, just keep on keeping on.
My neph told me last week that I have 6 months left. The good news is that I never met a neph that knew what was going on.
God have mercy on us all
