Chemo Infusion

Today was day surgery for intalling a port, My shoulder feels like I shot skeet all day. Tomarrow is the day of first infusion. Don't know what to expect really. At present I have a open mind.

# 10 Chemo infusion

May 19 2010

yesterday was my infusion. I feel fine at present. I suck on ice chips while taking the big guns of Chemo. It helps in the side effects in and around my mouth. I guss it makes my blood vesselssmaller and not as much Chemo goes in. Makes sence to me and it works ! I haven't had the tiredness or nausea yet. that comes in a few more days. I have started to have numbness in my feet. I ask my Dr. about that. He said that if it gets worse between now and next treatment we have to stop treatment. That is a sign to have this permanently. I don't want to go there. So we will see in 2 week's if I continue or not.

Day 6   I'm slowly crawling out of the super tireness. I have noticed that I have lost 3 teeth in 2 days. Had to do a recrown on another. Whats up with that? I think the Chemo is affecting my teeth. I will have to check on that. I don't want to loose my teeth!  Its funny, they just crumbled when I'm eating.  It's another challenge.
