Another Day, Another Sound

A record of my attempts to tune out the sounds that make me crazy...

Really??!!

Mar 31 2011
Ok, so now we've added a bag of popcorn, a cup of ice AND gum to my noisy office neighbors's repetoir (did I spell that right?) of nauseating sounds.  I'm beginning to think that it's some sort of horrible conspiracy.  Maybe my bosses actually hate me and they're trying to send me first class to the laughing academy.  I think I'm slowly going out of my mind....

I feel your pain! Right at this moment my coworker who sits in front of me is chewing gum with her mouth open!! I can hear EACH AND EVERY time her teeth separate from the gum and make that horrible noise...and the snapping...it's KILLING ME. I want to jump over this divider and wrench the gum out of her mouth.I have my headphones in at full blast right now to drown out the noise. UGH!!!

I know what you mean!! The teeth clenching noise of today is a bag of corn nuts! I don't know if you've had the pleasure of experiencing these little jewels but the sound resembles somebody trying to chew gravel. I'm considering throwing my stapler at her.
