A Step At A Time

All we can do is take a step at a time. Sometimes it's a step backwards, and sometimes it just feels that way. Then, there are times when you're taking steps in the darkness...

Puppy Day

May 19 2012
And it is with the most loving of all voices that I raise mine to make a toast to those who have walked on down the lane of life to the end and await us at the gate...Oscar, a child's delight, Bandit, my golden baby with golden eyes who snuck his way into my heart, Nana....The first baby my girls knew, taken at the young age of 4 years by the hateful grasp of cancer, and sweet, sweet Trixie, an angel in a white fur coat, our "undercover dalmation", taken from us at only 7 years by the hateful grasp of cancer, one week to the day we found out my husband had cancer, and he was her "people".  I still can't say her name without crying.  Love to you all, and I'll be along, and can't wait to see you watching for me by the gate!

Oh Zen, You have so much talent to be able to put into words ideas that can form pictures in the reader's mind. For me reading what you put into words precipitates a release of emotion that feels healthy. I have read other of your writings. You have true gift.

We love them like our children....... God gave you these furry angels and you cared for them. He is surely pleased
