I think life is a journey whose twists and turns reveal something every day. Mine started in New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1950's. Presently I live in Southeast Texas with my sweet husband. We have four children of whom we are very proud. Their ages range from 28 yrs to 16 yrs. Also three dogs and two red ear slider turtles.

Went back to college later in life and have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Minor in Theater and Music. Did a lot of acting in College and Community theater in my 30's and 40's. Helped to start a company in my 40's and am still working in Upper Management. I am a woman in a male dominated industry. I love my job.

What I do for enjoyment is read, fish (fresh and saltwater), watch football, especially college and professional, and being from New Orleans I love to cook, of course.

I believe in truth, integrity and respect for each other. I do not live for other people nor do I want other people to live for me. Friendly by nature, I talk to everyone I meet. People are interesting and I love to learn about them. I laugh at myself and try not to take myself too seriously. I allow myself to make mistakes and learn from them.

Having had problems in relationships in the past I finally went to a therapist and discovered that my co-dependent nature was the root for my unhappiness. Soul searching, discarding bad habits and learning new ones have given me a much happier, fulfilled life. I have to fight the tendency to want to fix people. I can only share what works for me if asked. I pray a lot.

I am a work in progress..don't know how the journey will end but, having a great time along the way.
