Hey, I’m Bob. I’m 22 and it is my first baby. My due date is 14th June 2012, and I will be a single mum. I was diagnosed as bipolar 1 at the age of 7. Since then I’ve also been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and anorexia with bulimic tendencies.

I have a BSc Psychology degree and will be graduating in July 2012 with a MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I’m hoping to become a clinical psychologist. Since September 2011, I have been on disability and had to give up being a manager of a learning disability day centre (a job I can happily say I loved). But I am adamant I will be back on the job market within the next few years.

MDJ has changed my life and has helped me to learn to cope with my mental health and in particular with my pregnancy, especially as I am currently medication free. I hope to give back to MDJ and help others as much as everyone has helped me

Thanks,

Bobx
