The article below from the New York Times 2/11/09 deals with the dilemma many find themselves in. The need for medication to control asthma with the resultant adverse effects in another area of their health. In this case it was the choice between frequent visits to Emergency Hospital for asthma attacks but saving the person's eyesight or controlling the asthma with steroids and going blind. There was a satisfactory outcome as explained when the asthma sufferer learnt the Buteyko Method.
