written about my phobia of the dark. Shadows Shadows playing upon my wall grow larger in the moon's pale light. Darkened figures both big and tall become my companions throughout the night.
As evening fades to night, more loom. Frightening images of every kind. Increasing terror, it fills my room, 'til I fear I'll lose my mind.
Spiders and hands, for me they reach, bending at will to match my fears. For the light of day I do beseach, to dry away my tears. |
