MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Hi, My name is Connie. I've dealt with panic attacks and agor at different stages on and off for about 28 years now. Due to life circumstances and a family history of anxiety disorders and agoraphobia I was probably predisposed to deal with this. At one point I was a totally functioning agoraphobic, traveling, driving, doing whatever I wanted or needed to do. It took a lot of focus and hard work to get to that point, but I can tell you.... it CAN be done.

2 years ago due to unexpected life events and illness I had a set back with my agoraphobia. So I've been here at mdj getting support and hopefully giving some in return.

I'm focused now on working my way back to where I was before. With encouragement, support and working on exposure therapy we all can tackle agor and take our lives back.

Hello My name is Kristy and I have suffered from Agoraphobia and GAD for nearly 15 years. I have good days and bad days - I have been really good at one time for a few years and was able to do most things. I am struggling with it a little more at the moment due to illness - both mine and in my close family. The people here on the MDJ boards are my family, friends, cheer squad and shoulders to cry on all rolled up into one! I am very grateful to be part of such an amazing team!
