MDJunction to me

"When I first came to MDJ, I was in a very dark place, and feeling quite alone, I don't know how I found this site, but I have been very grateful ever since, all of you have offered insight to the illness of Bipolar and the other things going on with me, being here has allowed me to find friends, and to feel safe in discussing things that I would never have shared before.

I believe it has also offered me the chance to reach out and help others. A simple Thank you, is all that I have to offer, to this site and to the wonderful people here.

Frenchie Frenchie

My name is MonaCherie. I live in Stone Mountain Georgia.

I am Bipolar, and suffer from Fibromyalgia, Post Traumatic Syndrome, have a brain tumor and an ulcer.

I damaged some nerves in my hips from a fall down a long flight of brick steps 6 months ago, and I am a recovering Cocaine Addict, which is going quite well, I am still clean after my stay in a Fla Rehab the first of the year, and now my anti-drug and my passion is helping others who are going through that rough patch of road in their lives. I believe in being a good listener, without being judgemental, and understanding.

I am a poet, songwriter, artist, and singer.

I have 2 black labs, a cat, and fish.

I love my family here ay mdjunction.

I am willing to help if I can, anyone that seeks it. I have assisted counselors with troubled teens, and with addiction therapy.

seabass seabass

the name is seabass. got the nickname from the movie 'dumb and dumber' because i'm such a glutton for stupid humor.

my depression forced me to seek treatment, for which i really rejected, but also have really benefited.

i hated myself, was such a slacker that i considered suicide. for some reason, i saw that a different life existed. i could have a purpose. my treatment and my attitude helped me get over that hump. i do have a purpose as does everyone here.

i want to help people. we are in it together. i need help from others as do they. so i will strive to do what i can.

we are not weak. we just need help in pulling off the covers that blind us from seeing our true strength.
